This is a personal, everyday account that allows you freedom with benefits like no monthly service charges, no per item fees, and unlimited check writing. You can also earn interest based on five tiers as long as you have a $1,000 minimum balance. You’ll receive a debit card with no monthly fee, free electronic statements, and your first order of checks is free. You’ll also receive six free foreign ATM withdrawals per month, and you’ll have access to our free online banking along with free online bill payments.
Century Checking
This is an account designed for employees of the Century Center complex and environs. With this account, you’ll earn interest based on six interest tiers, regardless of your balance. There is a $10.00 monthly service charge if the balance falls below the minimum daily balance of $250.00. You’ll get unlimited check writing, free online banking and bill payments, free electronic statements, and free discounts on traveler’s, gift, and official checks. You’ll also receive a debit card with no monthly fee and your first order of checks is free.
Rewards Checking
This is a well-deserved account for clients over the age of 50. There is no minimum balance requirement, and you’ll earn interest based on six tiers regardless of your balance. You’ll receive unlimited check writing, a free small safe deposit box and a $25.00 discount on all other sizes. You’ll have access to our free online banking and bill payments, free electronic statements, and free discounts on traveler’s, gift, and official checks. You’ll also receive your first order of checks for free and a debit card with no monthly fee.
Savings
Our personal savings account only requires a $100.00 minimum balance, with a $25.00 minimum to open. There is a $4.00 monthly service charge if the balance falls below the minimum. You’ll earn interest regardless of your balance, and you’ll receive statements quarterly. You will also be allowed six transfers per month, with no more than three by draft, debit card, or similar order to third parties. More than six withdrawals per month will incur a $10.00 excessive activity fee.
Money Market
The personal money market account is a higher interest-bearing account with very competitive rates four interest tiers. Interest is earned on balances of $1,000.00 or greater, and there is a $10.00 monthly service charge if the balance falls below the $1,000.00 minimum. There is also a $10.00 excessive activity fee for greater than six transfers per month with no more than three by draft, debit card, or similar order to third parties.
Free Online Banking
With Brookhaven Bank’s Online Banking Services, you have a virtual 24 hour representative available at your fingertips everyday from anywhere. You can check your balance, transfer funds between accounts, make loan payments, and view your current transactions. You can also view images of cleared checks, get past information on your account, and export your transaction data to your own Financial Management Software.
Free Bill Pay
With Bill Pay you will never have to worry about missing an important payment. You can set up one-time or recurring payments quickly and easily when you enroll at www.brookhavenbank.com. It’s available 24/7, and it reduces paper output and you’ll save on stamps. It also reduces identity theft with secure logon, and alerts and reminders are available.
On Call Telephone Banking
Our automated telephone banking services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 404-633-BANK (2265). You can obtain deposit and loan account information and our “FAX back” service allows you to get a copy of your statement. You can also transfer funds between accounts and make loan payments.
